"One day we'll all find out that all of our songs was just little notes in a great big song."

— Woody Guthrie

How I can help

Nurturing Melodies promotes a collaborative relationship and utilizes aspects of a person-centered approach, such as providing a non-judgmental environment and trusting in the client’s own strengths. Nurturing Melodies also believes a cognitive behavioral approach can be beneficial, working with evidence-based interventions to promote growth. Nurturing Melodies works with the client to identify goals, develop an individualized plan and create music interventions to reach the determined goals. Music interventions may include songwriting, singing, improvisation, instrument playing, lyric discussion, and more. Previous music experience is not required for a client to participate in music therapy.
